Principal’s Message

Dear SPC Families,
Happy September! As we turn the page into fall, our school community is buzzing with energy and excitement. From student and family Masses to our much-anticipated Fun Run at the end of the month, there are so many opportunities to come together, celebrate, and grow in faith and friendship.
Our fall sports season is in full swing, with 12 teams representing SPC in soccer, football, cheerleading, and cross country. Go Tigers! After-school clubs will also be starting in just two weeks, giving our students even more ways to explore their talents and interests. These are wonderfully busy days, and it is such a joy to see our school alive with activity.
Academically, we are already looking ahead with intention and excitement. Using our fall i-Ready results, we are strengthening our support systems to meet every student where they are and help them soar. We’re reviewing math placements, refining programs, and considering new electives—all to ensure we are building a strong foundation of rigor, relevance, and high expectations for every learner.
Thank you for walking this journey with us as we embrace both the joy of community and the gift of Catholic education. Have an awesome week—and let’s make this September one to remember!

Out of Uniform Passes and Teacher Appreciation Lunches
Home and School Association programs or co-sponsored activities are already underway, and we need your partnership to keep the positive momentum. Out of Uniform Passes fund the majority of Home and School activities. We are asking each family to complete this form. One form per student enrolled at SPC needs to be completed. This form will allow you to purchase Out of Uniform Passes and also provide you with the opportunity to donate towards our monthly teacher/faculty luncheon and birthday celebrations.
This year, the Home and School Out of Uniform Passes are $40 and valid for the following dates (also indicated on the SPC School Calendar): 9/19, 10/17, 11/21, 12/12, 1/16, 2/13, 3/12, 4/16, 5/15
Preschool students will be able to purchase “themed day” passes for $20 on the same days (for example, PJ Day, Superhero Day, etc.). The list of themes will be sent in August.
On the form, you will also have an opportunity to donate towards Teacher Appreciation Lunches. Each month, Home and School provides a faculty and staff lunch. The requested contribution per student is $20.00.
