Welcome NEW Director of Technology, Mr. Tom Foster

Hello SPC Community!

I am your new Director of Technology: Tom Foster. I am so excited to be at St. Paul of the Cross and have been pleasantly surprised by how often I've heard, "You're going to love it here." I can honestly say that I already do! Thank you for the kindest welcome I've received in education.

As for my own personal education, I am a graduate of The University of Illinois (I-L-L) with a bachelor's in Rhetoric and English. Additionally, I have a M.A.T. with a concentration in Secondary English from Roosevelt University and an M.A. in Educational Leadership from NEIU.

That education guided me through eleven years of teaching high school English, where I was a PLC Leader, AP Language & Composition Teacher (College Board Reader), and Co-Teacher. Most recently, I was the Assistant Principal and Director of Technology at St. Raymond School in Mt. Prospect.

I live in Elk Grove Village with my wife (Amanda) and my two daughters: Ella (2) and Emma (1), so most of my time is spent loving and adoring my girls. They are all looking forward to meeting you at some SPC events! Please introduce yourself to me, and let me know if I can be of any assistance! Thank you again for all of your kindness. –Tom Foster

Great News!!

The HFC Family Mass is Starting Up Again!!
Many of you may remember that we used to have Family Masses in Holy Family Chapel (the basement of the church), where the Readings and Ushering were done by the children and the Homily and the Lord's Prayer were all geared towards the children.

The Parish will be restarting this beginning May 14 @ 10:30 and then they will be monthly!!
Add all the dates for the summer Family Masses to your calendar!

The Family Masses will be on June 11, July 9 and August 13 - they will all be at 10:30. The parish will be looking for readers for the Masses. More information regarding signing up for future months will be forthcoming. The Masses will also need ushers. If your child is interested in helping at a Mass, the day of, have your child arrive a few minutes early and go up to the head usher and volunteer!
