Letter from the Assistant Principal

Just Walk it
Walkathon 2017 is almost here! Please read the important update from Ms. Iacopelli above. The funds raised from the 2017 Walk-A-Thon will help to purchase valuable, educational resources that directly benefit all of our children. If you haven’t already done so, please register each student by clicking on this link. It will take you directly to the Walkathon Website registration page. When entering the information, please select your child’s homeroom teacher’s team.

NEW This Year: Each student can email a personalized fundraising link to solicit sponsors/pledges. All pledge dollars will also be collected electronically via this link. If every student asked 10 people for $10 donations he/she would raise $100 per student. What a gift to SPC!

EVERY STUDENT WHO RAISES AT LEAST $100 will receive an SPC drawstring bag!
The homeroom who raises the most amount of money will win a pizza party
The homeroom who completes the most number of laps will win a pizza party

Thank you for supporting SPC and Catholic education!

Soup-er Stadium Challenge!
Your donations have been pouring in! Thank you for your generosity in the Soup-er Stadium Challenge. This is an effort to help eliminate hunger and help those in need. Here at St. Paul of the Cross, we have decided to help our local community by filling the shelves of our parish food pantry.

After speaking with Mrs. Adrienne Timm, our St. Paul of the Cross Parish's social service ministry director, we have put together the most needed items and are dividing them amongst the different grade levels.

Certainly all donations are welcome and needed.

If you would like to participate in the Challenge, please have your child(ren) bring in his/her donation(s) to school anytime between September 12 – October 6. A very fond farewell to Mrs. Jacobs
After 28 years at St. Paul of the Cross School, Mrs. Kathleen Jacobs has decided to enjoy some free time with her friends and family. It is called Retirement!

Since this was a recent decision, we were not able to honor Mrs. Jacobs at our end of the year all school Mass. We would like to acknowledge her dedication, commitment, and love she has shown to SPC students for over 28 years!!

We will be compiling words of remembrance, special thoughts and wishes or fond memories to share with her. If you would like to share with us, please send your words, letters, or cards to the school office c/o Linda Foy and have Mrs. Jacobs name on the envelope. We will be presenting her with a basket full of these wishes at a faculty party in her honor.
