St. Paul of the Cross School follows the curriculum developed by the Archdiocese of Chicago Office of Catholic Schools. The curriculum can be viewed in its entirety at schools.archchicago.org/Academics/Curriculum/.
Students in fourth through eighth grade have the ability to place into an accelerated or advanced math course. These courses present a rigorous fast paced curriculum. Please click on grades 4 - 8 under Curriculum for more information.
St. Paul of the Cross School is proud to offer quality Catholic education to students of all ability levels. Students who are administered standardized tests with accommodations are those students who have either Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s) or 504 Plans through the public school district, or Individualized Catholic Education Plans (ICEP’s). Push-in and pull-out resource programs have been established to meet the academic needs of our SPC students. We have three resource teachers on our faculty. In addition, our local school district 64 provides on-site student services in resource, speech, and social work.
