The students at St. Paul of the Cross School prepare for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in second grade.
In eighth grade, they prepare for their Confirmation. The second and eighth grade religion curriculum is centered on their preparation to these sacraments.

At St. Paul of the Cross Parish, the school and the catechesis students share in the commitment as they receive these sacraments together.
St. Paul, in compliance with the policy and procedure of The Archdiocese of Chicago, has two parent meetings that you are expected to attend, one for Reconciliation and one for First Communion.
