Dear SPC Families,

Our small army of parent ghosts and goblins has transformed the Hallways and Gym of the UGC! It is the evening of Fun Fair and I am so excited for tomorrow I can hardly stand it! For all of our new families, remember to send your child in their Halloween costume tomorrow. Thank you to Kate Bastian and Kelly Skony, the Fun Fair chairs. This wonderful event would not be possible without their many hours of planning. Another big thanks to the parent volunteers who will come tomorrow to run all the games.

Next Thursday is Halloween (I learned last year that SPC celebrates Halloween for about a week). Given that students can wear their costumes tomorrow, costumes are not allowed next Thursday. However, students can come out of uniform and wear orange or black.

SPC Information and Updates

Green Team Denim Drive
Hey SPC Parents!

We are the SPC Green Team! We want to inform you that we will be doing a Denim Drive during the first week of November - the 4th through the 8th. You may bring clean and used jeans for the Denim Drive. The jeans may be any color. We will be collecting the jeans at main school entrances during school drop-off in the morning all week.

With the jeans we collect, we will do 3 things:
1. cut out patterns of shoes and ship them to Sole Hope, who make shoes for kids in Uganda.
2. donate some jeans to the SPC Clothing Drive.
3. recycle some jeans to be made into insulation.

We hope you are able to donate your jeans!
