Dear St. Paul Cross Country Competitors and Parents:

Everybody ran great at our conference cross country meet yesterday!

Congratulations to the JV Girls, who won the first place trophy with a very low
score of 28 points! The JV Girls' top five runners were: Laura D (1st,
7:01), Hannah S (2nd, 7:04), Brigid B(3rd, 7:06), Orla 
(10th, 7:26), and Maeve D (12th, 7:30) = 28 points.

Congratulations to the JV Boys, who also won the first place trophy, also with a
very low score of 33 points! The JV Boys' top five runners were: Patrick T
(1st, 6:26), Lucas B (4th, 6:36), Joey D (5th, 6:37), Michael B
(6th, 6:38), and Michael O (17th, 6:50) = 33 points.

If the Varsity Boys had one more runner to make a full team, I think that they
would have done very well in the team scoring, too. The varsity boys consisted
of: John K (3rd, 9:39), Michael Z (8th, 9:55), Jack D (12th,
10:04), and Brian T(24th, 10:58).

Thanks go out to Mr. Thom, who was our "Pace Vehicle" on his bike in all four
races.

Again, everybody ran great! I was so impressed!
