RESOURCE PROGRAM FOR GRADES
3 AND 4
How it works:
Students visit the resource room to receive additional support in the curriculum areas, primarily reading and math.
What’s new this month?
The third and fourth grade students have been very creative in writing an original “Fancy Friends Adventure.” They have incorporated words from the “robust vocabulary” that is a part of our new reading series.
Read Naturally and Earobics are two computer software programs utilized in the resource room. Both have been beneficial to improving students’ reading progress.
Third grade math students are excited about starting multiplication and fourth graders are eagerly sharpening their division skills.
January 11th is the week we start the second DIBELS (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills) assessment of the school year. We look forward to seeing the progress our students have made in their oral reading fluency.
