Pack your bags we’re all going on a trip…a reading adventure in the LRC.

This year the LRC opened its doors with a travel around the world theme. “Book a trip for a reading adventure.” The seven continents and famous places around the world are highlighted in the decorations and with books and bookmarks. This year students in grades 3 through 6 will be encouraged to participate in a reading contest. Students will be given a paper passport and will be asked to read seven books of their choice (hopefully, from a variety of genres) and collect a stamp upon completion of each book. When seven stamps are collected, the student will be awarded a prize!

What’s in the LRC?

Books? Encyclopedias? Research Materials?
