Adler Planetarium Field Trip

April 2007

 

Students in front of the actual Apollo module that splashed down in the ocean.  

Students used the exhibits and computers to conduct research about the planets in our Solar System.

In the new "Shoot For THe Moon" Exhibit,students can see what it feel like to walk with the gravity on the moon.
   

 

Students were able to operate a model of the Mars Rover by using a computer to program commands.

 

   

In the Star Rider Theater, students experienced "Black Holes " which was a virtual reality show taking us into the outer reaches of the Universe.

It was a fantastic day, filled with great information for our Astronomy Unit, and the beautiful views were wonderful as well!!
