I have taught English at the secondary level at Guerin College Prep, River Grove, Illinois for ten years.  Additionally, I have held the position of a reading assistant at Indian Grove School, District 26, Mount Prospect, Illinois for three years.  Currently, I have been teaching language arts at St.  Paul of the Cross School for fourteen years.

B.A. History; Theology, Briar Cliff University, Sioux City Iowa.

Certified as Catechist with the Chicago Archdiocese.
Numerous post graduate educational classes in the language arts, religion, and history areas.

I started the St. Paul yearbook many years ago. I have been Student Council moderator and did this for many years. Presently, I am co-moderator for the National Junior Honor Society, and I joyfully run the Canasta Club. I am serving presently on the Calendar Committee.

Teaching Experience

Taught junior high for the Archdiocese of Chicago both in Chicago and Oak Park for ten years before teaching at Oakton Community College for twelve years.  I currently teach junior high Social Studies at St. Paul of the Cross, where I’ve been for fifteen years.
