B.A., Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois
Major in Elementary Education with minors in both Biology and Early Childhood Education

 

Teaching Experience

I have taught 1st Grade here at St. Paul of the Cross School from 1999 through 2010.  I have also taught both 1st Grade and 3rd Grade at St. William School in Chicago for a total of four years.  I  was a long-term substitute teacher for 3rd Grade at Central School in the Lake Geneva School District in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.  I also started an ESL program for primary age students at Central School as a long-term substitute teacher.  I am currently teaching 2nd Grade and am excited about my new assignment!  I have a total of seventeen years of teaching experience.

Additional Responsibilities at SPC

This year I am on the Sunshine Committee.  I also do lunch duty everyday for 2nd Grade.

Teaching Experience

I have been teaching second grade at St. Paul of the Cross for four years now and I have loved every minute! I was a school counselor for a year and I taught kindergarten for a year but second grade is by far my favorite!

 

 Additional Responsibilities at SPC

I am a Girls on the Run coach along with my amazing co-coach and friend, Mrs. Nader. I am the moderator for the Peaceable Kingdom Committee. I the Rainbows leader for 1st-3rd grade. I serve on the Problem Solving Intervention Team. I am also co-chairman of the 80’s prom fundraiser in January along with my amazing team: Julieanne McDermott and Jacqui Crawford. So be on the look out for more information about this exciting event!
