Background and Education
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Loyola University in Chicago in English Literature with a second major in Mathematics. I earned a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University.
Teaching Experience
I taught two years at St. Wenceslaus School in a split 2nd/ 3rd grade homeroom which was self-contained. Then I taught nineteen years as a seventh or eighth grade homeroom teacher specializing in language arts (reading, English, spelling) and mathematics (pre-Algebra and Algebra) and all specials such as, gym, music, and art for seventh or eighth grade. When the school closed, I, then taught for two years as a 7th grade homeroom teacher at St. William School specializing in English and literature for seventh and eighth grade and art for seventh grade. I then became the teacher-librarian at St. William School for three years. Finally, I came to St. Paul of the Cross School where I have been the teacher-librarian (recently changed to LRC teacher) for the last twelve years.
Additional Responsibilities at SPC
I am currently on the Technology Committee and a member of the Sunshine Committee here at St. Paul of the Cross School.

Teaching Experience
I have been employed at St. Paul of the Cross School as a tech coordinator and computer teacher in both a part-time and a full-time postion for the last 9 years. I instruct students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
Additional Responsibilities at SPC
I serve on the Technology Committee, Handbook Committee, and the Practical Fine Arts Committee. I am co-sponsor of the Future City Competition Team. I help maintain the school website. I also administer our school network, telephone system, and web-based grading system.
