Students in fourth through eighth grade have the ability to place into an accelerated or advanced math course. These courses present a rigorous fast paced curriculum. Once placed in the accelerated or advanced course of study, the student is expected to maintain a "C" or above average and the teacher's recommendation to remain in the class. If the student does not meet one of these requirements, the student will be placed on probation with the possibility of being placed in a lower level math class. The following tables reflect the criteria for the accelerated and advanced math classes.
