Math Olympiad

The 7th and 8th grade Math Olympiad team scored in the top 18% of the top math teams in the GLOBAL math competition in the 2008-2009 school year. This competition only includes the BEST math students from each school. There were close to 16,000 contestants. The following students placed in the top 10% individually and will receive a silver pin, Rachel Pellegrino, Stefan Wine, Zach Blake, and MacKenzie Holland.

Team members are Brooke, Ian, Joe, Conor, Zach, Colin, Jack, Cara, Olivia, Jenny, Emma, Kelsey, Lisa, Eva, Joe, Stefan, MacKenzie, Lindsey, Rachel. Megan, Charlie, Kelly, Colleen, Stephan, Tully.

Rachel received a trophy for being the top scorer of the Middle School team.

The 2008-2009 8^th grade Math Olympiad team scored within the top 20% nationally and was awarded the High Team Achievement Award!

  There are 22 mathletes on the team. Joey S., Daniel W., and Jack D. scored in the top 10% of the top math students in the global competition and will receive a silver pin.  Team members are: Grace, Veronica, Claire, Meghan, Sarah, Claire, Matt, Linda, Sam,  Paige, Matt, Jack, Richard, Emily, Sinead, Danny, Dan, Dan, Brendan, Matt, Joey, Matt.

5th and 6th Grades meet Thursdays at lunch.

Jack D. was awarded a trophy for being the highest SPC scorer in the elementary division.
